Good Morning Early Birds!

Monday. It's raining, plenty of it, but very fine drops, if you know what I mean. Odd.

Tiggy thought it was his birthday, all the fat trimmings off the beef joint. He got stuck into it like he hadn't eaten for a week! I thought it would be a case of eat half, go on patrol then come back for the rest. Not a chance! He scoffed the lot in one go, didn't bother with the patrol and went back to bed. Good timing; it started raining about ten minutes later!

fine ta...got dad's new hand rails painted yesterday so hands a wee bit sore from clutching fiddly paint brushes...why they did not paint them before putting up I don't know..would be much easier...poured off and on all day so did not get much more done, looks the same today

Yeah, been really chilled so far. Was planning on getting a week's bus ticket and going exploring but might leave that until tomorrow or wait and see what the weather turns out like later. A week's ticket is only 6.50 Euro.

that's cheap..a good idea to get on the local bus, you will see lots you wouldn't otherwise

Our hotel is two mins from the bus station which is handy. Probably still go on a tour of the island and decide where we'll go tomorrow.

Raining in Norfolk too , but as you say , nice fine rain !
I am off for a run though as it is still warm and it's the best time of day to hear the birds by the river !
