Frankfurt police lead a man away in handcuffs in the early hours of this morning, after a tip off from a market trader from one of the cities Christmas markets.
A police spokesman said "Hans Hofmann's flat was raided and a large quantity of cakes and pastries were sized by undercover officers in the operation"

Hofmann was later charged with receiving and handling stollen goods
