I think it's got to be "I love x more than life itself". I always cringe when I hear this, who actually loves life itself? What a load of old tripe.

I always hate being asked to "fill out" forms, we used to fill them in.

I have just read the Ed's April Newsletter and he has made reference to .."You can't have your cake and eat it".
This is a phrase which originated after two Eskimos had been on a fishing trip and, being an extremely cold day, they lit a fire in their canoe. Needless to say the small boat then caught fire and sank.
Hence the original saying was .."You can't have your Kayak and Heat it".:-)
