Afternoon all,

I wondered if any of you had a good word for me?

By that I mean: what words do you believe aren't currently used quite enough or have been completely abandoned by our (or anyone else's) language?

It would be good if you could tell us what the word, or phrase, means as well (although it might be fun to try and guess actually!)

"S**t happens" ;o)
Lollygagger, a slacker
milliard

a good old British word for a thousand million which has been usurped by the American billion even though there was already a British word billion which is one million million
The Builder, I do believe that journalists have been disabused of the very notion of using such a phrase.

Fratch. To squabble.
I have always found the novels of P.D. James to be a refreshing source of the usage of interesting archaic English words. You know what I mean like?
