re spaced's second answer - unfortunately cows can walk up stairs - this has caused problems!
re the last answer - if memory serves me right it would be more correct to say that male pig orgasms last 30 minutes, how the sow feels about it is not so clear - at veterinary college we were told that this is the main reason why male pigs are call boars (sorry!)
False pregnancy is quite common in goats - has been referred to as "kidding yourself on"

Thats a common myth that dogs cant look up, but actually they can.
I have a good one:-
When a new pope is making his first appearance before hand he is passed over his officials heads on a chair held up by other officials. There apparently once was a case where a woman tried to dress as the pope and go through this procedure to cause a religious statement or something of the sort. When the officials heard about this many years later they were not sure wether it was true or not but just to be sure they added this to the procedure. As the pope was passed over the officials they were to look up his gown and say " testiculae et benne pendente" translating roughly as "He has balls and they are well hung" Not sure of spelling as I dont speak latin but roughly correct.
That procedure is still done today, they do not look up at the popes private parts but they do still say the phrase.
Also people always tell us that there are no words in the english language which ryhme with purple but there are two:-
HURPLE (which may also be spelled HIRPLE)
meaning to hobble (walk with a limp).
Hurple will not be found in many orthodox dictionaries because it is not part of 'standard' English, but it is a genuine word.
CURPLE
1) the hind-quarters or rump of a horse 2) transf. the rump, posterior
