Independent Crossword

I know this subject has been raised before but but did not bring about many opinions.Before I start this by no means sour grapes as I do not take the newspaper but I do have a peek at the winners lists in the Inependent Saturday and Sunday(sad old git) and have noticed the amazing regularity with which some names appear.Is this due to sheer luck or are the entry levels really that much less than in the other W/E papers.

I suspect there are fewer entries, I've won the Sunday Indi on a few occasions, I'm giving it a rest at the moment as I am inundated with dictionaries. I'm always surprised that they give these as prizes as I'd imagine it would be daft to embark on a crossword puzzle without one.
