Too hard for me. Surely other people have problems, but I see few posts. I've done half, with three of the nine trick ones. 11 dn continues to stump me. Clue; No agriculturalist, old tribesman diverts great river (9) H---E-G-R Someone has talked about Harbenger (no such word - but at least Ben was an old tribe of Israel). Someone else has got heidegger from a puzzle solver, but why? The situation is complicated by the definition possibly referring to the letters in the grid plus 'here' or 'there' at the beginning or end (or somewhere else???). In the ones I've got they are beginning or end.
While I have your attention, what about 13ac? Tight-fisted party - in Britain the left (8) --A---D- Could be ROADSIDE but that needs a bit of explaining (to me!)

Thanks Bibs and Lie-in. That may well not be my last cry for help (if I can be be bothered to go on) although as they pan out, I can see see a certain wit.
Agree with you here. This is just way too gimmicky, and with a set of instructions that might be useful if they were in comprehensible English. For the first time in months, I really just can't be bothered with this - it's too much shadow and too little substance.
