Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The idea of the game is that the setter poses an original home-made clue which everybody is invited to solve. The poster who solves the clue first (hopefully identified by the setter) is then invited to post their own original clue, easy or cryptic.

Johnny, I'm not in anyway offended by you stepping in to keep the game going. Please don't go. I've had trouble with my portable charger. It's a bit hit & miss at the moment as to whether it wants go charge or not. Still very slow. I think Miser was just looking out for me, thinking you'd rushed in too quick before I came back to take my turn. Can we all just move on from this and start again? I'm sure Johnny's intentions were good. 😀

Welcome back miser, sorry I seemed to have hi-jacked your initiative but at the time I thought we needed to keep it in Latest Posts.

We seem to have ground to a halt, so to get us going again, I am wiping the slate clean and restarting the chain with a clue (which I will monitor until a correct answer appears, whereupon the correct answerer should then present their own next clue.)

Then continue playing nice please people.
