The Club is now Open


All Members, new and old , are once again welcomed to the Club.


The usual wonderful array of nibbles and tailcocks will doubtless arrive shortly.

As is usual, we will have a raffle later and any prizes will be gratefully received.


So far we have:


A tin of Mansion House polish

A bag of sherbet lemons

3 shirt buttons

A small bottle of cod liver oil. (Sell by date 2007)

Tickets are available in several colours from any Committee member or there is an honesty box on the small hall table.

I like the fish and chip place the other end from the Magpie as well. Their crab sandwiches were to die for.

LadyA if you had ever tasted the Fresh cod at whitby you would know what fish and chips taste like, next time I am there I will bring some back for you. P.S. Rick Stein votes it no1 in the U.K. Now where is that matron with the tailcocks?

I,m wondering if the butler tested the codliver oil that is in the riffle,better pour it into the moat,might keep the crocs quiet.
