Good evening Milady, the buffet table is as per usual adorned and arrayed with goodies, including my special Venison sausage rolls and a steaming pot of rabbit ragout with fresh baked crusty rolls.

This weeks guest tailcock is Blazing Buick! A fiery number to warm the cockles and more.

For the Rofl

1 Charred wing mirror
Pair of singed Furry dice
A slightly melted 'L'Plate
Good evening m'lady, Matron & guests.

For the rofl I can offer -

A used llama saddle
A sack of turnips (the croc doesn't want them any more)
Some rusty windchimes

I shall be hiding coats in a new spot tonight, m'lady & the tailcocks are imminent.
Question Author
Oh dear, Mamya...have you had a bit of a conflagration ?

Rabbit ragout sounds wonderful , but I think I will start with a large Blazing Buick
Question Author
Good evening , your Maj.
A new spot for the coats..my, my you do get around this old place, finding all the crooks and nannies.
Your tailcock, m'lady.

Indeed, one is constantly surprised at the number of secret passageways & cubbyholes your pile has to offer.
Oh Milady yes, was most alarming at the time, I was the heroine of the hour though, you know how fast I am at - 9 9 9

I am keeping the Fireman's helmet for my own.
Evening all......Dixon of Hock Spleen here, hic.

Roffles: well, what do we have in the goodies bag - all with a Cornish theme

1 Mackerel from Newlyn
1 Saffron Loaf from Redruth as they have the highest number of Bakers in the UK being in bread.
1 Antique whip from Paul Martin from "Flog It" (he being of Corrnish fame)
1 Pint of Ratter Cider (not that loon from Devon - only joking)
1 Cornish Ice Cream with a 99 and a dollop of the Clotted Cream, not that Devonian pretend muck), half eaten
1 key from Martin Clunes front door key, the Doc Man of Port Isaac
1 Fisherman's Friend
1 Oilskin and toy St Ives Lifeboat
1 Cornish Cream Tea, butter pack rightly sent to Ratter
1 Airfix Model of St Michael's Mount minus the glue.
1 Rock from the River Fal, property of his Duck of Cornwall.
1 used Tregothnan tean bag, UK's only tea field.
1 weekend ticket for a gay couple to the Marazion B and B and an apology letter fromn Bishop Tim of Truro. Extra value as that mad Welshman ahsn't signed it.
Question Author
I'm sure you conducted yourself with your usual aplomb and sangue froid, Mamya.
Don't suppose there's any chance of a shot of the helmet ?

I hope you are being careful when you explore my passages, LIK.
Question Author
Good evening, DT...such largesse !
Good evening sir - one 'Blazing Buick' & I'll snaffle that coat, thank you...

M'lady - indeed, some of them are dank & forbidding.
You may have a piccy but not a borrow of it, all I have as a memory, well until next time.

Hope I win the Airfix model.
my typing is at sea this evening Milady, the E-Clectic Sea, it seems and its not the pre-tailcocks - what flavour is it tonight and may I suggest using conches as the glasses of choice, just in case any Madder feels horny tonight.

Watch that furry cat.

Weekly ode coming up soon....
Question Author
Oh, I don't know, Maj.....dark and interesting too.....
Question Author
I think you may have imbibed some tailcocks before arriving, DT...still, the more the merrier ....
Hmm. I resemble that remark, sir.

The ingredients of the tailcock are, as ever, a secret known only to Matron...
Evening All, just a flying visit tonight I am afraid. For the roffle I have brought some werther's originals. If you brush the fluff off they'll be fine.

The rock came from around the corner, after the "Lizzud"
Good evening, Miss bear - surely you can be tempted to one flagon of 'Blazing Buick' ?
//one flagon of 'Blazing Buick'// would leave me exhausted. Wheel them out.
Question Author
Thanks for the piccy, Mamya..it does look well. I bet it suits you when you put it on.
