Welcome everyone once again.

What a night of wind and rain here at the grand house tonight.

We must be sure to cosy up to the fire and enjoy our nibbles, tailcocks and good conversation.

Sadly there do not appear to be any contributions for the raffle this week.

Hello, nice to see you all. Please may I have a Trident Tested (double) and I'll try a cob of the roast frog.
Good evening, Miss meg (how convenient - thank you) - your large tailcock, Miss & I shall immediately hide your coat...

...Alas Miss, it is Hog that has been roasted - the frog is off-limits & quite distasteful.
Mama I could have sworn the croc was wearing glasses
I know better than to bring a coat Mr King. Are crocodiles allowed in Specsavers?
I may have to borrow his Ludship's Pince Nez to get this sorted out.
Mamyalynne - what you need is a chatelaine, I will look in our pawn shop and see if I can find you one for next week.
What time is the waffle draw?

puff, puff , phew...what a mess...never let me allow lordalex to try his hand at baking ever again....self-cleaning ovens indeed!

Large flagon of Trident over here please while I get settled.
Crocodiles can go wherever they want to go - don't think many would try to stop one..........
Oh no Milady , he has not been at the flour again , last time was like a snowstorm.

Lady Alex, you mean you actually let him play with the cooker too? Just give him slices of bread, and the toaster, and crack on that's what cooking is.
I have lit the fire in the television lounge for those wanting to watch the highlights.
There you are, m'lady! Your extra-large flagon...

I have taken the liberty of opening the TV room for guests to watch the football highlights programme, should they desire so to do.

I have left a bucket of Trident Tested by the buffet table for dipping into during my absence.
I thought cooking was a loaf of bread and a toaster. Confused now.
Question Author
I know, I know..but he begged and pleaded...said he fancied a bit of gingerbread....
More Trident please, so I can block it all out. That oven was the stuff of nightmares....
Question Author
Thanks for the site, Mamya....
May I suggest a length of chain, and a sturdy padlock. You could ask mamya to keep the key on her chatelaine.
Question Author
Sorry to say I only cleaned the oven , Mamya....the flour has got into all the crooks and nannies....
