Welcome again to all our members old and older.
It is not quite so cold this week, but I am sure we will still all feel the benefit.
Hopefully our staff will not desert us as they did last week with excuses about 'half-term' and 'circumstances beyond my control'...you know who you are and we know what you were up to...lady butcher indeed.....I have it on good authority that that shop was open for business all last weekend and the butcher lady was serving her customers tripe as usual...
Tonight's raffle prizes so far are:
Two porky pies
Small pack of green face powder (covers blushes)
and two used bus tickets to Scarborough (it's so bracing)

Were nothing but the petal best
Full of Jumbo turnips, Daisy taties and some Lie-in beef
They were far better than the Trollish rest
We took them down the Moat for tea
We took them up AB St Mikey's Trecom
By train, we took them to Penzance
To eat upon the Castle prom
AB Eds coaches took the weight
On Apotheosic trips to Looe
Loaded down with Nungate's buns
And Mamya's pasties, too
I'd take one down the AB station
Alexander had to have his tea
I never used to mind at all
There'd be a slinky of a corner left for me
We ate them when we went to Lady A's Castle
We ate them through crossing Dartmoor
They kept us going when trollish times were tough
We couldn't have asked for more
If we could turn the clock back years
Now wouldn't that be grand?
Once more we'd sit on the Castle Moat
With Mamya's pasties in our hands

Jumbo, I believe that the spudsshould be chitted to a length of an inch in a frost free but not sunny environment before planting. Me,I am just hoping for the best. Said spuds are at the moment kipping in my spare room. Never heated as I can't afford it so they may as well take advantage of the free billet.
Four different kinds, must segregate them.
What is the connection to a chit of a girl? Glad I did not become a root vegetable!

Typical! Leave you lot for a wee while and you're off with me buns! Not to mention putting the wind up the Llama!
Not to mention you Milady baring your buttocks to test the soil warmth for planting! I'm in shock!! Best time to start planting is when the farmers in your area star planting their crops.

Sorry Mama still trying to calm the Llama down after his encounter with the skunk.........or was it? I'm also trying to ignore DT's comments about my buns - they are neither hot nor cross - they are currant! Like some?
Yes I'd love another pail full of Jumping, jehosophats...............sorry Jupiters
