Last week's speaker from the Society for Psychic Research was unavoidably detained by an exorcism in Ecclefechan but has promised to try to make it here tonight, if she can get her teeth back in.

Oh gawd, if your maamship has my good self in mind for tonight's vacancy in the butlership dept, it is only fair that I tell your maamship that I will have leave in approx 1 hour to collect daughter No 2 from her place of employment.

Hope you are all well. For the roffle I have brought a clock with one hand missing. It keeps good time though. At the moment it is 20 past something.

good evening my sister and all of you.

for the reffle tonight i have on offer:
some used rufflet tape (still usuable)
one very sticky keyboard (crtsy of a large glass of cointreau)
1 bookend in the shape of a lion
3 useful plates not quite up to gness's required standard.

i do hope that some of these re acceptable. I also hope that it is convenient for me to park the llama round the back of the bar.
