I'm having a very frustrating time with my computer this evening and all the delights of this evening's meeting has been lost by my computer so, in order to get this meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club underway I'm taking a short cut.
The Tailcock: Summer Rain
Hot Plate Special: Spicy Spanish Chicken with patatas bravas and allioli
The Pudding Trolley: Crema Catalana (Spanish version of creme caramel)
The Minstrels will be playing Madrigals and Fugues in the gallery and later on they have threatened to give us their take on the Greatest hits of Jon Bon Jovi
As always the hot tub bubbles, the bungee is nice and bouncy, the moat is still full of piranhas, (the bungee has been moved to it no longer bounces into the moat - elf and safety) the grounds of the Towers are open to all members of MOFC, as are the rowing boats on the lake, the games room is available to all as is the swimming pool in the basements.
Since we didn't hold the rofl last week, all prizes have been "rolled" over for tonight's draw.
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

Daisy? Queenie? I think I drifted off there in several ways.
I better get out. I'm starting to look a bit like one o' them raisins in me Fruit 'n Nut bar
Question Author
Did you get a sitter for them or do they manage on their own?

Spoonboy, you haven't been to the Towers before, I take it you are old enough to be here or will you require "special membership?"
If nanny won't, Nonna might.
Officially I am over 50: unofficially, I am 5. Not good with cameras, either. But I'll bring along my own lifesaver, just in case.
Thanks queenie, there beautiful your doing a grand job with the little fellows.
Question Author
Queenie, are all of them ours? Did not know they would be such prolific "multipliers" .............
Well Nonna, thank you.
Question Author
That's great then Spoony, just remember. Growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional, and you'll fit right in. Igor! A tailcock for our new member!
Sir Spoonboy, would your prefer your tailcock in a bucket or do you prefer a glass?
Avert your eyes, Spoonboy. I would hate to put you off on your first visit, specially as I'm in me knitted cossie and, if you qualify age-wise, you know what happens to them when they get wet!
Yes mum they are ours I seem to be looking after Billy after his 'trip' Tony he hasn't forgiven you!
Question Author
Mammar couldn't you find one that wasn't knitted? There are some lovely ones in lycra down there in the pool room
Ah yes, the old saggy woolen cossie problem, Mammar. Itch like hell as well !.
He will, give him time, queenie.
Queenie, there aren't enough 'aaah's' for all those cute babies.
(I still think she's bred 'em for goat curry)
Intravenous would work for me Igor.
Nungate, I tole you when I got here tonight, I've been freezing all week. I thought it would be warmer than them tiny little things you call cossies. This one had sleeves.
LOL Tony...have you worn one??

Are you sure...he was giving me evils whenever I mentioned your name...

Ohh no we don't eat goat here Mammar
I am going to depart these fair waters and shores having been up since the wee hours and get some shut-eye......with a good continuation and my multiple thanks for all the exxchellent efforts of Igor and the hospital city of Nungate and Queenie. Night to all xx for the gals and a hic for the guys.
