I'm having a very frustrating time with my computer this evening and all the delights of this evening's meeting has been lost by my computer so, in order to get this meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club underway I'm taking a short cut.
The Tailcock: Summer Rain
Hot Plate Special: Spicy Spanish Chicken with patatas bravas and allioli
The Pudding Trolley: Crema Catalana (Spanish version of creme caramel)
The Minstrels will be playing Madrigals and Fugues in the gallery and later on they have threatened to give us their take on the Greatest hits of Jon Bon Jovi
As always the hot tub bubbles, the bungee is nice and bouncy, the moat is still full of piranhas, (the bungee has been moved to it no longer bounces into the moat - elf and safety) the grounds of the Towers are open to all members of MOFC, as are the rowing boats on the lake, the games room is available to all as is the swimming pool in the basements.
Since we didn't hold the rofl last week, all prizes have been "rolled" over for tonight's draw.
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

I've already got two of those Tony! Both gifts! One is a lovely black fleece with Barcelona sort of incised into the fabric and the club badge done in white embroidery, and the other is the club colours (and the badge) Queenie's is the club colours but also "cut" with Hibs - it was a game we went to in Edinburgh they lost 6-0 - great night but if looks could kill Queenie would be pushing up Daisies. Picture this., We are sat among hordes of Hibs fans. Queenie is in her Xavi Barca strip, I'm wearing club colours, (best beloved doing his best to remain neutral) In front of us are some Hibs fans getting somewhat het up because in all honestly they are well out of their league (we never really got out of second gear) these guys in front getting really frustrated "come on you lot we gotta close these guys down" Queenie pipes up "what with?" Even with a dozen more guys on the pitch they'd still have lost! The guy turned round and looked at her - we were outnumbered and she keeps on yakking!

Oh yes there will be a ball. Let's hope for good weather so we can hold it out of doors it will be lovely, but we'll keep the ballroom on standby.

Good night Tony. Daisy are you still around?
LOL, brave gal, that queenie. that could have been dangerous though nungate.
Don't Stop Me Now. Queen. Please Tony.
Lekker slaap all.
If you need any help with the ball nungate, let me know.
