Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of the Mad over Fifties Club.
Our tailcock tonight, a cheeky little latin number, will be the "Strictly Cha Cha Cha" a tribute to the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing. The hot plate special tonight a warming chicken casserole (well the temperatures have dropped) and on the pudding trolley we have a delicious creamy rice pudding, accompanied by a fruit compote. As always there is a varied selection of volley vonts and canopies
Up in the gallery the Minstrels are warming up, ready to give us their usual madrigals and toccattas, later on they have promised us a tribute to the greatest hits of AC/DC we might find ourselves well on the Highway to Hell this night!
For your further delight, performing in the ballroom will be local band the Tone Deafs playing some classics from the fifties. Also performing in the ballroom tonight, The great Marvo! Magician Extrordinaire! and is beautiful assistant Ethel.
On the north Tower the got tub is bubbling away, the mini bar as been refilled (yet again), the race track is open and the cars all revved up! The indoor swimming pool open (swimsuits are available) Members are encouraged to make full use of the facilities, the games room, and the library are all open for members (we have drained the outdoor pool) The bungee is ready for anyone wishing a "bounce" (just be mindful of the piranhas in the moat - they have been known to bite)
For the rofl tonight I offer:
A bag of tree clippings
tree loppers (busted)
Barometer (broken)
set of three paint tins (empty)
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

carriages at midnight

FRANK!! How many times? Don't do THAT!!"!!
Phew, ok then nungate.

I could wear my bedtime chains ......

Are they muffled, Igor ?.
Tony, you'd look great in a nightshirt. You can get nightcaps for wearing instead of drinking. Can lend you a candleholder.
D'you know, Tony, I think I do. That casserole has made me feel much more normaler. I think I'm 'coming round' as my ole Mum used to say.
I shall just wait to see if Igor can find me some hobnobs (definitely one up from my scabby rich teas) then I shall go for a few lengths.
They have wincyette covers Tony, sir.

Madame Mammar, I have managed to find you some Hob nobs
Ang on Daisy, I'd look like Scrooge !.

Give me a shout when your ready, Mammar.
Did madame knit your chain covers, Igor ?.
Igor, you're a treasure.
I shall see if I can have a quiet word with Frank for you and see if he'll behave better. He's such a trial for you.
You don't think a couple of bolts through his neck would improve the situation?
No she made them up and stitched them for me. Madame can't knit you see, never could
Only trying to help.
Igor, do you have any Marmite sandwiches?
Marmite? Madame Daisy Madame doesn't allow that in the Towers
Oh well, another drink then?
Yum. That was delish.
Tone, grab your Speedos. I'm off to work off those hobnobs
