Here we are again, another meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club! Welcome to Nungate Towers, one and all.
Tonight's Tailcock will be the "November Noggin" a lovely spicy brew - guaranteed "central heating" for this cold damp evening! On our menu tonight we have a rich hearty beef casserole with dumplings, as our hot plate special, on the pudding trolley we have plum duff and custard! Other treats for tonight are volly vonts, canopies and horses doovers!
Up in the gallery the Minstrels are currently playing pontoon but later on they will be regaling us with their usual selection of madrigals and fugues, down in the ballroom our favourite local band The Tone Deafs have joined with the Hotel Spendido Palm Court Orchestra to form a "supergroup" and they will be swinging along to the popular tunes from the "Swing" era! (pass me my bobby socks!) Meanwhile down in the Music room we have a special treat, the return of Flamenco Flo and her performing poodles!
Everybody dance now!!!
For the rofl tonight I have to offer:
set of broken lute strings (courtesy of the Minstrels)
1 cardboard box (empty but useful)
Spare set of chains (thank you Igor)

A warm welcome awaits all who enter these portals

Evening DT I trust you are well? An interesting and varied selection for the rofl I see. Is there cash to be refunded on the empties?
Hi Queenie, how are you......?
Evening all. I really could do with a plate of casserole and dumplings. And a bucket of Noggin'.
How are you all?
well I guess there is the glass value to the Spanish......that being the origin of them.
Evening your nungateship, well things went well at the vets this morning ( No I haven't been neutered ) our dog Bow had her stitches removed and after a check up was given a clear bill of health.
For the roffle I have one very fine collection of Rupert the Bear annuals and a tube of Davids Isopon ( exellent stuff for filling the holes caused by rust on any old Ford ext ).
Igor a bucket of November Noggin and a plate of that excellent sounding beef casserole and dumplings ( no plum duff though, they have been duffed enough over the years ! ).

Evening Tony, Evening Mammar, welcome back! Haven't seen you in ages!

Good news about Bow Tony, very pleased to hear it.
Had a few problems but getting better.
A bucket of your best will help x
I thought it was a young cherry, tony, not a duffed plum. Glad the woof is okay.
Good news about Bow Tony, very pleased to hear it.

Thanks nungate.

Evening queenie, Mammar and DT.

I thought it was a young cherry, tony,

Mmmmm, they seem to lose that at a young age these days, DT.

Glad to hear you're getting over your problems Mammar, we have missed you.
I'm not too bad thank you DT just getting myself psyched up for working tomorrow in one of our other branches
Hiya Tony and hello Mammar!
Roffle prizes:
3 inner rolls from Sellotape
2 Inner tubes from Xmas wrapping paper
2 empty Biros
2 spare jars of my famous pickled onions
1 wind up torch that doesn't work
Evening to you all. I think Eric may be a tiny bit offended at the whoever, DT. Lovely flight this evening. Superb sunset and then nearly a Bomber's Moon, so we took the scenic route, via Blackpool. Looks a treat lit up. Not been there since I was 3.
For the rifle, I too have a can opener with a slightly wonky handle, a cheese grater (dent easily circumnavigated) and a pair of kitchen tongs with minimal rust.
Good job I am wearing my flatties. Fancy a swing later. Right now I will settle for a November Noggin. Can you put a noggin in a bucket?
Evening Daisy, ready for a dance later ?.
Ohhhh, hope I win Mammars delicious pickled onions.

Working tomorrow, queenie, anything to do with Christmas ?.
Evening all

Before I join in the festivities I would like to point out that tonyav will NOT be donating a set of Rupert the Bear annuals for the raffle. I have left him the said annuals in my will and at the last check I still have a pulse. He has been a tad premature there.

I would like to donate

An unused birthday card for someone age 102
A brand new clarinet reed
A knitting pattern for a jumper with only part of the pattern torn off and missing
so I presume that you are going to a shop where the clients are well-heeled, Queenie.

The remark, for clarification purposes, assumed that you were coming with Eric, Daisy, others arriving on or in whatever/whoever.... How are you anyway?!
