She wouldn't even look at my arm when the nurse tried (and failed) to get blood from me. Best time ever, I fell on holiday years ago, and she and her dad were with me when I got stitched up. I was to have stitches taken out when I got back, anyway, we trot along to the surgery and she, (all bravado) I'll come and hold your hand mum - we got there, dressing off, nurse approaches with necessary tools, takes one look at her face it's as white as the wall (nothing had even happened at this point) and tell her to Get out! Such a brave girl (not) but her heart was in the right place, wanting to come and support me, but I think it was brave of her to even try to be there.
