Radio Times Big Picture Quiz 2015

In the Christmas Radio Times there are 50 clues to TV programmes in a large picture. Until someone can find a link to the picture, some clues will only make sense to those who can see it. Here are 25 I need help with:
1 Dickensian style cartoon of a man sheltering from the rain under an umbrella
2 The word Forgotten crossed out with a red zig zag
3 Metallic W inside a circle
4 Dark figure by a lake and heavy clouds ? Top of the Lake
5 Welsh flag with mortar board on dragon's head
6 Swirly design which could be icing sugar ? Bake Off
7 Meteor flying over turreted chimneys ?? X Factor
8 The letters LIFE in white and black on red, blue, yellow and green
9 Small grey mound of ? ash
10 The words CRIME + CRIME
11 The words "You can run but can you hide"
12 The words "Do not feed the humans" with accompanying road sign
13 Pictures of couples and children
14 The words "Casual Worker wanted"
15 An Egyptian looking cat on a stand
16 Woman with red dress and white ruff ?? Ripper Street
17 Woman in a green coat ? Downton Abbey
18 The words "Any colour as long as it's black"
19 Arabic graffitti
20 Map of the UK with a woman's face
21 The word WILES ? Lewis
22 A headdress looking arrangement of knives
23 A red flower ? a tudor rose (surely Wolf Hall is clued somewhere)
24 Yellow and blue design in shop window (if this is one of the clues)
25 Small "fairy on the tree" design (if it is one of the clues)

I didn't realise that the chimneys and meteor were two clues, that's unless Coronation Street had a meteor strike.
I had Chefs on Trial, but I was persuaded by Hire our Heroes.
The Egyptian cat god is usually called Bast or Bastet. The blank legend makes it look like a prize or trophy, but it might relate to an antique's programme.
I know that the bbc review of Building Cars Live starts wtih the Henry Ford quote but I'm not sure about it, maybe because I didn't watch the programme.

Catastrophe sounds good, don't feed the humans is Danny and the human zoo, it was a one off drama about Lenny Henry

Catastrophe is brilliant. I'd started to think the Egyptian god was a red herring and it was just a cat, but wouldn't have got there.
Less sure about Code Black. The font can be a clue and they're very different.

Anyone know what the letters on the glass door under Lady Mary's hand stand for - look like inekko ?

In previous years the pictures have been based on real streets. The only thing I could come up with was the Finnish store Marimekko (it could just be an m rather than an n). I found out that the first stand alone store in London opened in St Christopher's Place. I hope this link, which suggests I've found the shop works better than my Doctor Foster link. Andrew
