I'm making turkey kofta to be served with naan breads, salad and pickles.
What is everyone else cooking? I really want some inspiration for the OH who always replies, when I ask him what he wants for dinner, "something different".
bazile - watch out. I drove to a brand new Big Mac centre I think on Thursday - thinking it was franchised and going to be nice. Rotten. Never again will I be back to Big Mac.
lcg - within the last two weeks have had 3 takeaways - all stinking - just thrown together. There's no way if you were to receive the same meal at a restaurant they would set that down. Bring my restaurants back.
That sounds lovely, Rowan. I saw some beautiful dark savoy cabbages yesterday in Aldi and I was so tempted to do a roast dinner tomorrow but then I remembered I've got a vaccine hub shift to do tomorrow so I'll leave the OH a ham sandwich :-)
Wotcher, Bobbi. We're having fish and chips next Saturday as it's the shouty one's third birthday! We have actually got the most amazing chippie a couple of miles away and their battered chips (a Black Country thing) are phenomenal. We only eat them on very special occasions.
We’ve just had gigantic sausage baguettes with our local award winning butchers home made sausages, washed down with a bottle of fizz, as we have a family thing to celebrate long distance :)
Later, if we can stuff anything else in, it’ll be frozen leftover veg crumble.
Or a Big Mac. Ha ha.
Or a snooze.
I have next weeks meals planned out though.
I'm not sure. I've been informed that he's taken a lamb shoulder and for steaks out of the freezer. He wasn't thinking about dinners, he said he couldn't close the lid of the freezer.
