7. 1986 Return of HC


8. 1987 LP jailed for TE


9. 1995 Launch of RFL


I am really stuck on these so would be glad of any help.They are part of a charity quiz.

Radio Five Live started in March 1994 and Radio Free London actually started as far back as 1968.

Thoughts on 1995 RFL, in the hopes they spark someone else's memory....


- user66 is correct in what s/he says, although Radio 5 Live was renamed in March 1994, from Radio 5, which started in 1990, and Radio Free London had a relaunch in 1995, having been on and off air several times since 1968


- I toyed with the idea of it being something to do with "Run For Life", but can't find any definitive evidence for that - tried linking it with Sport Aid, but that seems to have been 1986


- best answer I can find at the moment is Rugby Football League, because they had a meeting in 1995 where they decided to accept Sky's TV coverage bid, and they launched Super League in the summer of the following year (ie. 1996). So I'm thinking maybe you could argue that the RFL Super League was launched in 1995
