"Good morning"!
This is Queen Christiana, QC (aka Jackie). As you can see I've moved quickly from "drowning" status to "waving" position and now expect other people to wave as I pass regally by. Perhaps it's just as well, then, that by the time you will be reading this introduction, I will be on my holidays in the UK. Where else do you go when you live abroad ? (I live in Portugal) I suppose I'd better get started; otherwise I might get out of my depth and start drowning again.
My loyal 'Clerk of the Count', crofter is launching this on my behalf, whilst I participate in all those relaxing activities that I so much enjoy - reading, window shopping, meeting friends for cappuccino and cakes (the no-calorie ones, of course) and oodles of retail therapy. Whilst I'll endeavour to hold back on that one, you can be certain I won't try too hard and will take all those bits of plastic, etc - just in case I weaken!
I'm particularly looking forward to the holiday, as the last few months have been very busy ones for me and I really do need some time off. Just to be able to do what I want will be great � who knows I might even go fishing? You might like to do a bit of fishing too, but "Take care"! It's all too easy to catch a few red herrings!!

Like last week, I have followed the same rule as crofter on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
