As ever, I've got a couple ( well, five ) to finish in this laboratory medicine based crossword.
Help with this one clue may get me on my way again.
Factor in faecal movement when a joint-university involvement's held up (8)
?L?U????
I thought joint may be KNEE or ANKLE with U for university and RE - for involvement. But Im drawing a blank in finding any anagrams.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you had any winners lately? We had a four part quiz in the Hospital Canteen, all through December and I won!
The prize was a 20in Sony LCD TV, which was fantastic, but when I got it home it didn't work, so it's gone back to Cola Cola who provided it - So I hope I get it back some time soon.
Apart from that I've won a Dictionary from The Sunday Times Mephisto Crossword - I only go in for it to win the runner-up prize of 20.- though it'll be nice to see my name in print - next Sunday I think.
I've got a caption for the Lab News - but again I think it might be a bit too risque.
I hope your keeping well, and if I can find any prize crossword links, I'll post them.
This one is still open, its got a cash
prize and it's a stinker like the MLW , especially with all the Welsh names !

After much effort, I finally finished it - so if you have a go, I can help if you're stuck.

Hi Joanna
Yes - on the mammary theme
" I've seen lot of " fried eggs " on the beach before, but that is ridiculous ! "
I worked overnight Christmas Eve, so I slept through Christmas Day, but I made up for it New Year's Eve.
I got my TV back OK, it just needed a British adapter, and on the same day the 50 cheque for the " two faced cow " arrived.
We'll definitely have to find some other crossword to collaborate on, although that Spectator one is pretty tough, and the closing date is coming up soon.
There is another free monthly prize crossword mentioned a lot on AnswerBank - I'll find a link when I'm not on my third pint of Stella !

Hi Joanna
We've had no luck on last month's lab news comps - although they haven't posted the sudoku winners yet.
I wasn''t too impressed by the caption they picked.
I can't believe I totally missed the pop quiz they published, it must have been in the December mag. Pop music is my " specialist subject " so I'd have loved to have had a go at that.
If you fancy a challenge there's the latest Spectator crossword here.

It's pretty tough, but it's worth 30, and since I've had two rest days off to Google, I've finally finished it. If you take it on and want any help, let me know.
Hope you're well and winning.

Hi Joanna,
Yeah.... not a great winning caption. I had
When no one was looking, the tree sneaked onto the pitch and scored.
I think you're right, they've seen our names too many times !
I did the crossword okay this month, but I didn't bother with the caption - I wasn't feeling inspired this time !
Hope you're well, and if I can think of any other crosswords we can collaberate on I'll post again.
Perhaps we should try and get a MLW subscription again, somehow ?

Hi Eddie,
I have emailed MLW to find out what was going on and have had no reply. I just wanted to know the answer to that faecal movement one really!!
The website still shows August 2007 issue in it, which doesn't look too promising.
I'm not inspired by the caption either and with the past winner's they've picked I doubt I'll bother. If someone at work manages one I will send it in. In the meantime I will just stick to the crossword.
Good luck to you,
Joanna

Hi Joanna, I'm working nights, so I've only just got home.
I must have got the LabNews very this month, as I can barely remember the answers.
I think Seize - sounds like sees
and renege - Rene - Frenchman EG -say ( backwards)
I didn't bother with the caption again this month, couldn't be @rsed !
Hope you had a good holiday. Our leave diary is always full, so I never go on holiday 'til September !
I remember you won on the Sunday Express skeleton, was it ?
I was lucky to win 100 on the Times Crossword Club monthly crossword. Its 25 a year to join but you get access to all their crosswords, plus loads of prize ones.
Hope you're well and winning, Eddie.
