MM Links Solutions September 2007 [Week 4]

This penultimate week of the unusual reign of Crown Jools contained a romantic theme and yet some of the chosen link words carried a hard edge, which was not easy to respond to. You'll see what I mean when I reveal that the Link Words chosen by Crown Jools were:

BUSMAN'S Holiday
FINE Romance
Happy CAMPER
ARRANGED Marriage

This was mean week for scoring and only one of these Link Words bringing points to many entrants ~ and one defied being located for many hours!

As I fully expected, there came a serious entry by first-comer rogerr, who landed FINE ROMANCE to score TWO POINTS. Both paulineward & jan1956 came with the very same link within the required two minutes to qualify for these same two points. These would be the only occasions when the two-minute rule could be applied during this round.

However, jan1956 also introduced HAPPY CAMPER to bring her tally for this round to FOUR POINTS to make her �Hot Shot of the Week�!

Around this same time, Grenmus spotted the difficult link of BUSMAN�S HOLIDAY and score TWO POINTS. However special mention MUST go to Entrant #39 when evsajo entered the competition very late to pick up ARRANGED MARRIAGE (and FINE ROMANCE). Well done indeed!

One each last week was just too good to be true so we've came back on form this week with zilch each.

Good grief - I do believe I actually fluked another point against the whimsical mind of Crown Jools this week, and in so doing managing to keep away from my favourite toy - the wooden spoon !!!

Welcome back from your travels, crofter - just quietly, they've all run riot without your steadying hand !!! - you can see what the shrubbery has disintegrated into, in only two weeks !!
