MM Links Solutions March 2008 [Week 2]

This second week in the reign of Lady Alex went like clockwork ~ with all the postings going out exactly on time. I now reveal the chosen links were:

Red ROSE(S) [Very patriotic]
District LINE
London PRIDE
Girl FRIDAY

Many entrants went for "Red Light" (Really!), nevertheless three of the four links fell very quickly indeed, and these proved to be real money spinners!

Well, LONDON PRIDE fooled few of the early birds! The wave of attack from the Shrubbery Squad began with burgess, who also hit on DISTRICT LINE to score FOUR POINTS. He was followed (also at 09.01) by ulysses100 with the same two hits together with the new link of GIRL FRIDAY to score a massive SIX POINTS and to set the benchmark time (of 09.03) for any further bonus points.

Tight though this cut-off point was, another six entrants managed to squeeze their predictions in on time to pick up bonuses! Entrants jan1956 & paulineward both picked up TWO POINTS, sarumite & lysander picked up FOUR POINTS and Strix & slaney both had three hits on time and score SIX POINTS!

After the 09.03 deadline, there were more hits but no more bonus points! In spite of this, x-ray made three hits at 09.06 for an excellent three points. This was repeated at 09.10 by freebie 2 as Entrant #18. However the best was yet to come!

At 09.11, joto made a clean sweep with the last link of RED ROSES and all three previous hits. The scoring now gets complicated since all FOUR links automatically attracts SIX POINTS. Since RED ROSES is a new link, there is ONE ADDITIONAL bonus point. This picks out joto as an exceptional HOT SHOT OF THE WEEK!

Thank you ladyalex for the links ; after last week I didn't think that I would ever be on your wavelength, but to get three this week is amazing (not as good as joto though !).
I must admit that I had red light as my first link too -- and, like sarumite was thinking of traffic lights, but then had second thoughts as to its suitability !
I am in good company (again) with the points scorers, but can we maintain our leads ? Until next week then.....
