MM Links Solutions August 2008 [Week 2]

This second week in the reign of Sir Sarumite went as promised with plenty of points on offer to the lucky ones who struck early and with accuracy. Following a theme of The Olympic Games, I can now reveal the chosen links were:

China TOWN
Opening NIGHT
EASTER Parade
Peace OFFERING

All links were spotted before the game was three minutes' old!

First to enter (and to score) was evsajo who came marching up to head the EASTER PARADE followed in line by Dinkypuzzled, gen2 & Grenmus, all wearing their Easter Bonnets and claiming TWO POINTS for early hits within the required two minutes. At 9.02, in came paulineward with her OPENING NIGHT and the second link was claimed.

At the same recorded time, Jools came in bearing a PEACE OFFERING which was worth yet another TWO POINTS and the floodgates were about to open! At the early time of 9.03, Entrant #14 turned up in the guise of wickedtongue to offer CHINA TOWN and EASTER PARADE and OPENING NIGHT. Each of these still qualified for bonuses which totalled SIX POINTS and accelerated wickedtongue straight into the lead by quite a large margin. This ex-champion again showed his mettle and more than qualified as the WHITE-HOT SHOT OF THE WEEK!

Apart from many single hits, a number of regular entrants managed double hits including Prescott, seekeerz!, devadiva, Magyar & lysander. They are to be congratulated! However, also scoring two hits was newcomer merlinius ~ a name to look out for in the future. Yet another newcomer was rmleake who had the brilliant idea to start all their predictions with GR ~ going for China GRass, GRand Opening, Parade GRound and GReen Peace. GR8 thinking, but we�re not that bright! Newcomer last week was Diane1954, who for the second week was among the scorers. Well done!
