KM Links Game - June week 3 results

Good morning everyone - well I'd have to say that's debatable considering the scoring [ or lack of it ] from this weekend's contest.

For starters, Kate is playing fast and loose, and very tricky as well, so for all of us who have become a little complacent [ had we ? ] we've had a wake up call !!!

This weeks matches [ as far as I can tell ] are -

HIGH CHAIR
LYMPH GLAND
GLASS CLOTH
and NURSE HOUND [SHARK] - see what I mean.

So for everyone who put Nurse Shark and thought they might be on a good thing, you have my sympathies and the rest of the scoring was pretty ordinary too.

Seven entries picked up a point for High Chair, five picked up a point for Lymph Gland and only one, the very tidy miss meg scored herself a point for Glass Cloth.

So a whole 13 points were allocated - well, I guess we'll all have to do better next weekend - so same time, same place next Saturday and fingers crossed.

and now for the Leader Board on which very little has changed -

with 10 points - wickedtongue

9 points - cliffyg, x-ray & cpfcrosiel

8 points - grannydi

7 points - lysander & nabob

6 points - ulysses100, gen2, Chiefpanda, joto & Magyar

And the rest of us are strung out like the proverbial Brown's cows, making up the rest of the gang - ah well, nil desperandum or whatever, there's always next week, next month, next year - oh dear I do sound gloomy, not really, as dot & dash reminds us - it's only a game and we're in it for the fun !!! see you all nest weekend, S

The lack of comments here tells its own story, but look at it this way.

Every month we have to have a few missed opportunities and this week we have put them all in one basket so all our options next week will be winners.

All it needs is a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude).

Most of us are still too busy licking our wounds at the moment, but hopefully optimism will kick in later in the week.
