The Club is now open.

Any prizes for the raffle will be gratefully received.

There is ongoing discussion about the possibility of Housey-Housey being included in our activities. Sadly, no one on the committee knows the rules of this game.

I have a prize for the raffle - a book entitled "100 things to do with a dead cat"
oh dear two clubs, what to do what to do
Housey in one and No housey in the other?
Question Author
Sorry about the confusion, folks.
Am consulting with matron as to how to proceed.
I think probably Rule 74 applies here, but am unsure.
Matron will know I'm certain.
there are THAT many rules?
Question Author
It takes three of us to carry the rule books around, Weeal.....hence our confusion.....
Question Author
Matron has consulted the rules and the decision has been made that she will close her door, so the Club Members should attend here tonight.

Three cheers for Matron Mamya, the doyenne of the Rule Book.
Question Author
Androcles, thank you so much for the donation......I would have thought that your literary tastes would have run to '100 things to do with a wounded lion'...but what, as I often muse, do I know......
Will Matron show us her naughty uniform? (I'm thinking I may have strayed somewhere I am not sure I want to be - help!)
I'm here now, sorry I'm late, it's my birthday tomorrow and was taken out for a drink. Yes, being home by 8.15 after a "night" out is ridiculous!!! Got very confused as I'm seeing double and saw 2 clubs. Hope I'm in the right one.
Question Author
Worry not and welcome Miss Meg.
Many happy returns of tomorrow.

Androcles.....you too worry not. We do not lead people astray here. We find we do not have to.
A lion is a cat, and after all Samson found an interesting use for one.....
Question Author
Was that the business with the jawbone of an ass?
Or am I the ass?

Daniel I can remember, but I'm hazy on Samson. Never did like blokes with long hair.
good evening m,lady hope all is well. Can you check round please, two weeks ago I promised matron I would put the cat out as I left. When I got home I remembered you dont have a cat due to his lordships allergy so I dont know what I put out. The punch was very strong
miss meg, sorry I couldnt make it last week I was having trouble with my abacus and kept getting error messages, I suspect this may have been happening with a few members hence the low turnout humble apologies
Question Author
I will ask the staff to have a good look round.
I think you may have put out the hippo.....which would be a blessing. I don't like that nasty thing.

Who punched you anyway ?
We do not condone violence here, except, of course against the residents of the home for the bewildered.
Those ruffians need to be shown what's what.
