MM and KM Links October 2009 [Week 4]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

The last three weeks have been very similar in the total number of points scored and the recipients thereof! The game is now poised in a critical stage with several MM Linkers well placed to carry off the October title. Furthermore, there are two more weeks to go in which to make an impression. Will Dustybun shake the dust from her buns and streak ahead? We wait with bated breath!

I heard no one complain last week about my scoring, so I assume that I am back on course regarding the League Table. I shall simply leave Queen Christiana the Cheerful to her own devices when launching her latest MM challenge, beginning at 8.45am and her four words to be linked being declared at 9.00am.

Regulars will be aware that there is an international version of the same game called KM Links. That version is organised by Steff (aka seekeerz). She hails from Down Under and is our very own “Wizardess of Oz”. Since KM Links kicks off at an earlier hour and we have little control over precisely WHEN it starts, there are no penalties for entering your predictions at a later time. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards. Newcomers are always welcome!

Me? I’m crofter and I keep the scores for the MM Links Game. Hopefully, I shall maintain my usual degree of accuracy when applying the Sacred Abacus. Until we meet up tomorrow, may I wish you “Good Luck” and “Happy Linking”!

Well I have been decorating all week...what have you all been up to?

I have had a week off, ready to go back on Sunday to sell loads of fireworks, as we are going to win the regional comp and beat them all
I know lots of you will disagree with the selling of fireworks, but I just want to win the regional comp and sell the most (not that i'm competitive you undertand!

We normally let them off at New Year. Now the kids are grown up..we don't have to bother now. :-)

Gee thanks crofter - you should have known that the Strixes of this world would not let an opportunity like that go begging! Anyway, my buns don't need dusting ~ they were done last year!

I shouldn't say this Pauline, but I have probably spent hours doing that one. It definitely can be done ~ I'm somewhere in the region of 1 in 6 or 7. Sad or what?!!
