Welcome to the final week in the reign of “Prince Philip” (aka centrino) and I must say that he has been so easy to ‘manage’, that I have had a relaxing month and just left him to it! Every month, I certainly enjoy the opportunity to learn more of the person behind the cybername! Each of us has a story to tell and I feel that we have much in common.

In due course, we can expect “Prince Philip” to post his final MM Links tomorrow morning; starting at 08.45am and declaring the words to be linked 09.00am, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Remember ~ in the MM Links Game, initial hits (or repeated hits shortly afterwards) gain bonus points! I have my eyes on at least two or three potential MM Champions (some of whom are newcomers showing early promise).

Of course, you should also look out for the exciting, high-scoring international version of this same game, which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your KM posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz and goes by the name of “seekeerz” (aka Steff). I cannot praise Steff highly enough for her continual high spirits year in year out!

All I ask of you is ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards. This will be the last week of February and the month’s two champions will be recognised after this round of predictions. Moreover, the new MM Links Champion will have the ‘privilege’ of setting the Link Words throughout the month of March!

Until I see you tomorrow ~ “Happy Linking”!

:o)
So where is everyone?
Only popped in to say a quick Hello....not been too good last few days.
Hope you all do well tomorrow. Where are you all hiding?
Hi Pauline
Too cold to venture far into the shrubbery this evening, so am skulking inside watching the cats goe berserk as they watch an intruder (of the feline variety) in the garden.
Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well.
hi Pauline, hope you feel better soon
as tearing hair said much too cold out tonight

spring is on its way
Roll on the spring! This winter has been too long and cold!
I have a mad cat tearinghair...rescued, and living the good life! She is barmy.
just like the rest of the familly Pauline???))))))))))))))))
Is this the same one who was causing huge vet bills last year?
My two are black twins, coming up for two years old and still as crazy as the day we got them from their foster home.
hello all and sundry! Pauline, sorry to hear you've not been too good but sometimes it's the days when you don't feel so good that emphasise the better days ~ sort of bench mark days! I got this in an e-mail the other day (twice now in two years!) so I thought I would share it with anyone who might be interested. Pauline, you could look at this and listen to Nigel Kennedy at the same time. Very therapeutic! Must dash away now but will try to get back later. D :0)

Thanks everyone...I will be okay. Still taking time to get back on my feet properly.

Those pictures are brilliant Dustybun.

Yes tearinghair...the same as!! She was destined to survive to run me ragged! :-))
She came to us abandoned at 4 weeks old, was nurtured by our Lab...and we have act who really thinks she's a dog. She chases things...carries toys off in her mouth, goes to the door with the dog and comes back when you shout her name at the back door. She also loves water...and chases the hose pipe, and then stands under it.
That should have read ... we have a cat who thinks really she's a dog...
and your furniture is scratched to pieces, you have to get up to feed her just as you've settled down with a good book, and she likes you to open the door for her to save her having to go throught the cat flap....?
Are they related tearinghair!!??
One day this week, our cat went halfway through the cat flap, realised I was in the kitchen, and came back in, and sat there looking and pawing until I opened the door!
Think it's just the usual feeling - no, knowledge! - of superior cat-hood. All those cushions with slogans on ('the cat and its housekeeping staff live here' etc) may be a bit twee but are undoubtedly true.
Well ours rules the roost here that's for sure.
Well...not being a party pooper, but need an early night. See you all tomorrow at some stage and I will fetch the wine next Friday! :-)
Good evening all - just read through this evenings posts. What lovely photos of London dustybun, they were brilliant - glad I don't pay the electric bill for all those lights.
I liked the bits about the cats, we also have a "nutty" cat - she goes out the kitchen door and then comes straight round to the patio door scratching to come back in.
Well, I will wish you all good night (if you are still there)
See you all in the morning for the links games.
Think I have missed you all, but am totally bogged down with plaster dust !!! My kitchen is being altered am in so much mess.......... Will be around in the morning to get 0 points again !!!!
