MM and KM Links February 2010 [Week 1]

Last night’s storm took its toll on the croft. A tiny amount of rain penetrated the lounge ceiling and landed a few inches from my laptop causing a malfunction. I have it drying out and keeping fingers crossed. One of my drainpipes was blocked with fallen leaves creating a lagoon. Finally, the garage door failed to respond to the remotes! Peace has now been restored.

Our new MM Links Champion, Lady Alex, is standing by ~ eagerly anticipating her launch tomorrow morning. She last won the honour two years ago with the best example of “beginner’s luck” that I have seen in a long time. Only evsajo comes close to matching this feat. I look forward to her second reign which should begin when she opens the channel of communication on AB tomorrow at 08.45am and her four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am. This will be a brand new MM Links challenge and remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!

As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz ( Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz”. Our thoughts go out to her fellow countrymen in Queensland, who are facing some terrible weather week on week.

As I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest.
