The Club is now Open.

After the excitements of last week, let us hope for a calmer evening tonight.

The moat has been cleared of tennis balls, the drainpipes have had barbed wire put round and extra locks have been installed. It is to be hoped that these precautions will be sufficient.

The Committee have decided to re-instate the raffle in place of the non-raffle, so any prizes would be appreciated. No more knitted biscuits, please. We're still unravelling the dog .

Any new members wishing to join will receive a warm.

If a warm is drinkable and does not involve being over heated I would love to try one. Surprised to hear the raffle is back, at short notice I have delved in my handbag and can donate
a 1968 diary
3 dog biscuits
lily of the valley toilet water
a hair net and a rain hood
Ha ladyalex, that's a Danny Kaye special. Heres a microwave crisp maker for the raffle...only ever used once...the firemen were very nice about it and the kitchen ceiling cleaned up lovely.

Thank you woofgang and hello petal and Miss Meg.

Sorry I cannot continue to sparkle conversationally as I am in a decline.....
Excellent milady I take it there is only one verse pity, you have such an interesting voice. <fingers crossed>. For the non raffle raffle I have brought a poncho, I'm sure they will be back in fashion before long. a box of felt-tip pens, you might have to scribble with them to start them off, and a large bottle of Colonel Belcher's parsnip and blueberry wine. Oh and a dvd (free with the Daily groan) The Darnbusters.
Question Author
Thank you , askyourgran......sorry cannot be more chatty...the decline, you know...
dambusters & parsnip wine'll get things along a bit
Question Author
Perhaps I could sing along with the film to help my decline........
I think this is a cheap copy Petal, it says DARNBUSTERS on the cover, might even need subtitles.
as lonh as it's not too naughty,Gran
Milady I shall fetch your tonic, this is most disconcerting as a rule you decline very little.
are you declining for any reason or do you decline to say?
I once went in de cline, was not pleasant, try a stiff drink and unravel a bit of the dog to take your mind off it.
Question Author
eh ? what ??? where am I ?

Gosh I feel much better now. That tonic is a real life-saver.

Shall I sing again ?
Well as long as you feel up to it, have you any requests for a backing tape?
Question Author
