This is crofter, writing to you from the croft which I being drenched in rain and hoping for better weather tomorrow afternoon so that I can get out the BBQ! I have tidied up the garden as best I can ~ but it will take a couple of seasons to get it back to how I like it. Perhaps I am being obsessive regarding weeding, but we are what we are. If it does rain tomorrow, we can resort to Plan B (whatever that is)!

Last week was the fourth round in the reign of “King John” (aka rockfordill): setter of the MM Links, and once again he set an interesting challenge with a healthy number of points on offer. His game is now poised for an exciting conclusion. With ex-champion Aquagility running rampant, I shall be looking over his shoulder for some promising new developing talent to lead us into August.

As usual, the schedule is to launch the site on AB tomorrow at 08.45am and post the four words to be linked at 9.00am, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Don’t forget ~ early MM hits gain bonus points! Of course, you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register.

The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from The Land of Oz and goes by the name of “seekeerz”. I honestly believe that MM Links are usually more difficult to predict, but many players take part in both games ~ so why not chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards. Honours are awarded at the end of each month.

Until I see you tomorrow, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!

Now where did I put Plan B?

:o)
Panic not, crofter, about the weather.

I am sure Pauline will sort it - after all the ..... looks after his own!!
Good Evening all...Crofter the sun always shines on the righteous! I shall be there to ensure good weather! :-))
Or maybe I should cast a spell...
Do I sense a meteorological theme...?
Well it's been so miserable here for a few weeks now. Lots of rain, and still a hosepipe ban! I need the sunshine badly...think I should emigrate down South!
I am sure the weather will be kind to you and I bet the garden looks beautiful, sorry the chatterboxes can't make it this time so you will have a quiet afternoon!! Pauline will make up for us though!

Pauline, you never told me you were into swinging!!!!
Jan, Reg and I are very open minded! :-))
Anyway Jan, it's Aquagility running rampant this month!
Pauline, don't try to pass the buck to AQ

Evsajo offered to top and tail with Sarumite! He being a gent and scared, locked himself in another bedroom...alone!
Are you still around boxtops?
A few of us 'oldies' on here met up a year or so ago...and we have tried to get together once a year, now referred to as the AGM.

We pretend to discuss serious business, like quizzes, but we get sidetracked.

Have you been having good weather where you live?
Good evening all, what's all this stuff about rain? I'm going to rip all the plants out of my garden and grow cacti instead! We've no hosepipe ban yet in Kent, but I refuse to waste water by using it on the garden, instead everything has to survive by its own means.
Hi Pauline, very quiet on here tonight. I expect S in busy until later. It's been dull and dreary here today but no rain. Have you got a cover for your swing?
twix do stop bragging we will send you the rain,
Laney don't encourage Pauline to go under cover
you never know where it will lead!!!!
Twixt we have had to resort to our water butts but they have almost run dry, we have rain forecast for tomorrow but that remains to be seen.
