The Club is now Open.

The Committee has decided to re-instate the raffle this week.

Prizes so far include :
A tin of sardines, sell by date illegible
4 reels of black cotton
Half a box of chocolates (Hard centres only)

As we have not had a demonstration for some time, perhaps we can prevail upon one of our members to give us an illustrated talk on the subject of their choice ?
The Committee is aware that many members are very talented and in these straitened times we must make our own entertainments.

Members will also be glad to know that the oubliette has been cleared and cleaned, ready for .....

What or who has done that ?
How is the Chumley coming on gran? Many more rows to go?
Question Author
Well, the time has come for me to retire tonight...busy day tomorrow as it is the local Doors Open Day and lordalex and I plan a visit to the local porridge factory.
Good night all , thanks for all the laughs and I'll see you in 2 weeks time, if we're spared.

ladyalex :-))
Just as I was to depart I hear I'm in Trouble.I cannot think what for unless its because I've detained the rugrats in the cupboard under the stairs. but they are warm & dry and have been fortified I'm sure. What else could it be? Did I leave the lamp on in the coach-house when I stowed my scooter for the night.
By the way if anyone will be at the skittle club can one remind husband about the key to understairs cupboard the constant banging coming from there is very un-nerving. The rendering of "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" is driving me mad too. tcht - tcht - tcht.

Goodnight m'lady - hope lordalex gets all the oats he wants, and trust you will find No-Betty just where you left her last time. sweet dreams and ttfn ♥
Just doing the shaping bit ttfn it should be finished by tonight, but I'll have to measure it before I cast off. Plus the nut toffee is stuck on the first three rows.

M'lady my fee for the talk is on the sideboard. I think someone called Ed gave Jem a swipe, at least she is still here to tell the tale. Just a slight aberr/ mist... slip of the tongue on her part.
Oh poor Jem - have you not got a spare key hidden anywhere? (I would have sold my soul last week for a spare key to the you-know-where. <<sigh>>
Your answer was deposed Jem, in ref to a question about a quote?? Itching to know what you said.

You have been in the coach house too, tut out of bounds that is.

Night Milady take your spurtle to the porridge factory
and don't be giving Ena any spare keys or you will be in bother
Question Author
Last time I took my spurtle to a porridge factory, nobody asked me to play.

lordalex is replete in the oats department, thank you , Ena.
Night again , all.
Night night Milady, sleep well.
Goodnight m'lady enjoy your visit.
Mamya I hope jem won't mind me telling you it was just a smalll f four letter word that must have slipped off her keyboard. In response to a question "What the..." with and asterisk. I would have said exactly the same, Most unusual for Jem though.
Matron - your words have wounded me, have you not seen my reformed character tonight? All I said was - I would have liked a spare key last week. And where has my dear friend alex gone? We have had no music tonight - I am sure gran would appreciate something to tap her toes to.
Now I won't be able to rest Mam, About a quote?? what Quote?? how did you know about it?? How do I find out about it?? When was this?? Did I upset someone?? Anyone else know about this?? DOO Tell!! I'm completely in the dark.
