The Club is now Open

Good evening everyone. Once again it is a cold and wintry night, but the log fires are burning brightly and the Aga is almost red hot. No doubt drinks and nibbles will be available shortly.

Any raffle prizes will be welcome.
So far we have :

a pair of slipper socks (hardly used)
a bottle of eucalyptus oil
half a box of chocolates (hard centres only)
and a tube of steradent.

As it is Christmas time, tonight's raffle tickets will not be charged for...
donations to the building fund and staff wages will be quite acceptable instead.

Tailcocks all round, doubles preferrably.
Oh yes DIY tailcocks are the order of the evening indeed.
Question Author
Still suffering, Mamya ?
I do hope you're better by Crimble
The calltick shaker is too small - I have got the Kenwood Chef out now! That is more like it. I also found these pint glasses - straight or handled everybody?
Question Author
Straight for me, please.
Don't like those dimpled-ey things, slip out of your hand too easily.
Handled for me please Mamy my hands are too shaky for the others. I spill more than I drink and dont want to make a mess on her Ladyships carpets
, hhhhh, sorry i am late, been much too busy being abused on other sites.
Question Author
Hello LAdy Eyre. Sorry to hear about your abuse.
Draw up a cushion, toast your toes and have a tailcock. We're drinking them by the pint tonight as Tis the Season.
Good evening Lady Eyre - have a large drink - we are doing our best to keep out the cold - and in poor mamy's case the lurgy too. She looks so red - I think her thermostat may have gone :o(
Question Author
Alcohol is good for teh shakes, Alexanderd. Ask any snooker player...they claim for it on their tax returns....under 'tools of the trade'.
Yes Prudentia - abuse is never nice. You stay with AnswerBank instead of other sites. We are a friendly crew on here.

Perhaps Mamya is having a power surge ? That can fair take it out of you.
Now that you mention it LadyA I believe dartists claim it keeps their arms steady as well, perhaps I will have a couple more
May I be so bold as to refer you to my earlier ramblings of the week - though I was sober - there is a veiled reference to this wonderful institution in the verse about laughter ;o)

hang on, I think we have some chard in deputy fridge in the utility room,........yes yes we do. bring it on, whatever it is,.......anybody there ......???.....chmmm..... Its a jacobs creek., so all is well.....carry on, don't mind us.......
Chilled and charred sounds like a contradiction to me Lady Eyre! Still - I won't have to blend it so carry on and help yourself. Mind you that last jug full with the clove studded onion - tasted funny to any of you? My mind was wandering to the bread sauce for next weekend. I really do know the difference between an onion and an orange thing - if only I had peeled the onion first. Hey ho - must be good for cold relief. Cheers!!!
