The Club is now Open


Good evening everyone. Once again it is a cold and wintry night, but the log fires are burning brightly and the Aga is almost red hot. No doubt drinks and nibbles will be available shortly.

Any raffle prizes will be welcome.
So far we have :

a pair of slipper socks (hardly used)
a bottle of eucalyptus oil
half a box of chocolates (hard centres only)
and a tube of steradent.


As it is Christmas time, tonight's raffle tickets will not be charged for...
donations to the building fund and staff wages will be quite acceptable instead.

In fact I am so wound up that I am off to bed. (Early start this morning and another tomorrow, snow permitting).

Lady Eyre - nay fret over 'celebrities' - we are better than all of them. Have another drink and partake of some of mamya's excellent nibbles - she has excelled herself bless her despite her poorly status. I have just topped up her hottie for her and she is looking more mellow now.

I have over the years mixed with them, and shared the despair and delight of their entourage. Dame Helen Mirren, beautiful, confident, but rightfully aware of her example to her admirers, a very wonderful all around person.
