The Club is now Open.
Good evening and welcome everyone.
How pleasant it is to be back in one's own home after the recent flurry of social activity.
I do hope all went well in our absence ?
The recycling bin did seem a tad full this week, but I expect all that glass came from the Home next door. They are rather an unruly lot there.
I believe that there is a Rollover Raffle tonight, so buy your tickets often and early.
Unfortunately tonight's speaker , the well known clairvoyant Miss T Ickmeg, has had to cancel due to a mouldy ball. If any members have 'the gift' , could they please make their way to the upper lesser hall where we will be happy to receive them.

Meanwhile, do you have any clove oil to rub on, or even a clove to suck ?
By the way, I have made some tailcocks, but the cellar looks a little empty.....

Evening milady. So good to see you back.
Brought a bowl of going over daffs for the truffley thing. Whoever wins them, let them die right back, keep them dry and plant them in your border in the autumn.
Alex all is now clear. For one horrible moment I thought you meant an awful lot of pain would be needed.
Ooh! These fungi thingies are delish. Is it a volley whatsit? Thought I could smell cordite.
Perhaps a teeny scotch to clear my palate?

Slinky ..welcome!
Such largesse. Thank you so much.
Sadly, Alexanderd, the invitation has not yet arrived. I am sure there must be some sort of postal problem, though and am expecting it daily.
No royal visit expected here that I know of, but it is always advisable to Be Prepared as Pudden-Bowl used to say.
