Scientists can say what might happen but no one is 100% sure what will happen.You can't argue with nature.
Sounds like your sat nav might play up and we might get Aurora Borealis visible which would be great.

Nothing to worry about. Coronal mass ejections [CMEs] happen all the time. It's a regular occurrence which at its worst sometimes cause some electronic devices to fail and can sometimes affect the electricity grid. Luckily, the Earth's magnetic field deflects the majority of all CMEs.
Go to Spaceweather .com you can read about what happened yesterday on there.
No point worrying about it - I don't think we can actually do anything about it now!
How strange that we've actually had Aurora Borealis ooop north last night and expected again tonight.
