If the moon really was made of green cheese and cost �1 per ton, how much would the moon be worth?  sorry folks all i really wanna know is does anyone know how much the moon weighs? thank you

hi everyone, thanks for all the replies, sorry about not getting back yesterday, i didn't lose interest honest, i went to watch a film and it was late when it finished.

Also thanks for all the extra information about the moon weighing different amounts depending on where you weighed it, I hadnt thought about that when I asked the question.

At the minute my mind is boggling more at the size of the cheese wire and mountains of branston rather than the size of the moon.  lol to brachipod and sddsddean, and big thanks to gen2 for answering my post in a way i could get my head round it (science was never my strong point)

ps everyone, i have a couple more questions about the moon, but i will ask at a time when i dont have to shoot off - i very rarely come on internet after 6.00.  I wasnt sure of the response i would get, but looking at the replies i got it would have been nice to join in.

If 73 trillion tonnes of cheese suddenly came onto the market, I think the wholesale price would probably drop below �1 per tonne, so the whole argument is transcombopulatious.
