If superman had been around 65 million years ago, would he have been strong enough to save the dinosours by deflecting the Chicxulub meteor ?

Of course he would, he Superman, unfortunatley he may not have survived that long, what with humans like Martha and Johnathon Kent been there to raise him, or any other humanoid creature for that matter...
There was a time when Superman couldn't fly, but only 'leap tall buildings with a single bound'. I remember reading the first comic where he was given the power of flight' and it shattered my illusions about my hero.
So...65 million years ago, and not being able to fly, how could he have done it?
Simple, he'd have kicked it senseless with a Chuck Norris style roundhouse kick while shouting Woh-Pah!
I think he could have punched chucks out of it over a period of time. He could have flown in space as well like he did in Superman 2 so its all possible. He could also travel back in time like in Superman 1 so in all thats a yes. Although we would still need him to beat off millions of big lizards that he saved!!!
