Well I am also back from the butcher minus a tooth .
No flat screens, just Radio Norfolk warbling in the background and the dentist humming Stairway to Heaven as he stuck the needle in my gum .Swine .

(passes cookies to jno) how lovely to have meercats....are you really serious? If you are then i have got some brazil nut and white chocolate ones that you are welcome to....was going to put them out here but it doesn't seem fair on the poor dentist victims.
Dh is about to begin a round of dental implantery which sounds like no fun at all to me but he has grown used to having teeth and doesn't fancy dentures.
Puppies have settled in nicely, they are getting the idea about not peeing on the carpet and once we can convince them that the whole world isn't edible, including my garden and the electrical and computer cables, then life will become more normal again. Got to say that i am really enjoying this retirement lark.....can't wait for Dh to join me.
Huge birthday wishes t Shaney....gosh what a day to go to the dentist, still I guess it gets it over with.

jno, it appears completely random! A couple of hours ago I saw two links only - Post an Answer and Subscribe to Question - and now I see all three! And I haven't changed to Beta or changed my browser or anything. Too weird. The reason I was asking has to do with the fact that I've been secretly attending Miss Robinia's correspondence finishing school for aspiring, would-be thread hostesses. But we should perhaps not elaborate any further on that on here; I'll continue to interrogate headmistress over the email. :-)

Was it the wild weather keeping you awake Jude?...there was a bloomin' blizzard when I went out side with Chas last night & about half an inch of slush which had frozen on the grass this morning. And I won't be showing any butt on a day like this or any other for that matter...good strong elasticated waists pulled up to the bazooms at all times.

Morning All Well I got up at 7 after my not getting to bed til about 2.
Woke up with a bad back apparently it's wear and tear according to the doc and it just stiffens up over night so must take more exercise. Missing my rock and roll that's what it is. I am doing ab rolls on my hands and knees and am up to 150 per day want to get up to 200 that's my aim, don't know if I'll make it but I'm going to try.
I think there was a blizzard last night Robi My car was rock hard with ice this morning, but today is lovely and sunny but cold.
