Morning All Remember me sayng I never clean on a Saturday. Well I lied. I'm going berserk with the Dyson and Polishes of all kinds. I've even moved the settee which Is the heaviest on earth. Just stopped while the kitchen floor dries!!

Hope you are all ok today. It's lovely and sunny here but cold.

Kit enjoyed your list of Saints. Did you know St Jude is the Saint of lost causes. That's me to a tee not a Saint a lost cause before you think I've gone all good in my old age.

Well Jude St [Kit] is the patron saint of spinsters. The Vatican's really got our number, don't they! Anyone know how this poll ended; I vote St Clare.

What manufacture is your impressionable young thing, Vinny? I did lie down for a while in one of those memory foam beds the last time I visited my local furniture store and yes it had potential. That was "Ekornes Svane", I don't know if you have it over there, they're Norwegian I think. As I was lying there with my handbag beside me (worse than Robinia) two British lads walked past and one of them said to the other "That's the way to do it - try it out!"

Well! Naturally I didn't reply - I never talk to foreigners while lying down - but I did wonder at the amazement in his voice - aren't there "sleeping halls" in UK furniture stores? Big rooms with loads of beds that you're actually supposed to lie down in? (I'm not joking.)

Evening all - didn't go down to see Los Reyes as it was too cold. Mr N had been at a golf dinner, so I ate kippers and white bread and butter and profiteroles and it was lully!!!

Kit When we were in Stockholm and it was so chilly there Ibought a pair of woolly leisure bottoms in that little market square next to our (first) hotel Kungsgaten, Iam wearing them tonight as it is now cold, and they are so comfy, I guess you all know how to keep warm up there!! Do you have snow yet?

You may be wondering why I do not go to these golf dinners, well I used to, but then the women got richer and richer and all they talked about was gucci 'andbags and no one knew about Primark and I couldn't be a*sed to bother with them so I now prefer to be at home. Obviously some times I have to put in an appeareance but luckily not too often.

It's about time that some people (ahem Robi) changed their avatars seeing that xmas is long gorn!!!

Oh don't remind me Neti of how chilly it was, why did it have to be our first autumn day - you'll have to come earlier this year :-) Yes we do have snow now, my park is all white. (It's funny, it's just outside my window but I'm never there!)

I took my deccies down yesterday and it all looks bare and dusty .I cannot be bothered to microfibre . I have the usual January black dog hanging over me . My mother always said I was a miserable little Capricorn at this time of the year and now Cetti and my birds have deserted me .I am seriously considering buying one of those light boxes .
