would anyone know if i was to buy brown hair extensions nd wrap tape round them to create stripes if i could use bleach to create the brown and blonde stripe effect?

Yeah I think that's right, but if you use real hair which is widely available you should be able to dye it, straighten it,style it how you like. may be more expensive though!
