Are these still sold a lot? My mum had one on the other day, which was hanging down below her skirt When i mentioned it to her she informed me it was because the elastic had gone because it was one i'd had when i was about 14 (23 years ago!) she still had it cause she couldn't find one in the shops that was the right length for her (knee length on a 5 foot person)

Actually,I have a couple of waist slips in my undie drawer somewhere. God knows why. The only skirt I ever where is a tatty denim one when it's hot and in the house or garden only. I have a couple of evening skirts in my wardrobe that haven't seen the light of day for many, many years.
I obviously need a clear out. I don't intend to wear a skirt ever again (or a dress (except for a cheescloth sundress, again for garden/house use in hot weather).
