Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin's of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

So a dolls bedsit then neti? :)

Our cousin gave us her house, it was bigger and sturdier than the one we had, and it was very much like that too shaney. That too finally fell into disrepair but I wish we'd kept the furniture.

oh cut-out dollies, yes we loved them. I had some posh stand up ones in a big box for xmas once, I think they were american. You just changed the head on a basic body to create a new character...bit like some of the posters on this site I think.

woo! that's a lot of potential poop on your washing, send 'em off to Devon shaney :)
i am sat here scoffing spanish olive oil biscuits, upitas de los reyes....totally delicious.
Cut out dollies - I used to make my own and then make their clothes with little tabs on them. Loved it.
You lot have been chatting a great deal today. What thread is like a bitchfest?

I feel a lot better. Had a long chat at the Medical Practice with the Pharmacist in his private office. He is a lovely man and very understanding so I chose to pop in and see him initially. He reckons I am very run down and suffering from acute anxiety after having two lots of antibiotics for mouth infection and then going down with that flu like cole thingy. Have now made a doctors appointment.

We got a load of shopping done. We were low on food. Glad Mr LL is around to drive though. I wouldn't dare at the moment. It's taking Master LL over 2 hours twice a day to get to and from work in Norwich.

Yes I was happy with my chat with the pharmacist but I bet when I see the practice nurse in ten days time or so she won't be as helpful.

woofy I'vejust pulled something laughing at the the post (now removed) where you had a double snigger (and the one before that)
oh no, that second one wasn't rude....

lets all have a second childhood.

Oh woofy what a lovely page, middle sister (of course) had a lovely stand-up all round paper doll called Cynthia (no idea why!) and her clothes went all the way round, I had a common and garden tubby one with a big head (Susan) and I had a Ginger one called Grace, but she wasn't interested in boys she loved the girl guides and was a goody two shoes, we had so many, even boy ones.

At night when in bed we used to pay J,J,J (Jennifer Chimes (oldest sis) pretty petite) then Joan Brown (short Brown haired athletic one, middle sis) and then there was my Janet Wilkinson who was so pretty, so gorgeous had everything in the world (how young was I?) we had such imaginery adventures on snowploughs, we certainly used our imaginations in those days, mum would shoot up the stairs with a threatening hairbrush and telling us all to be quiet. We had loads of bedrooms so no idea why we all shared one, but I was glad to share, I was scared of the big old house.
It's alright, you can come out now, I've shut up!!
Except that after a while my paper dolls necks used to weaken and had to have tape stuck across them!
Its been international dining night tonight. I had spanish biscuits, then tandoori chicken with american johnny cake and canadian whisky.

erm, excuse me...hard to believe i know but I do have to eat you know...
They're lovely woofy, it's funny how you can remember your favourites. Two of the dolls in the boxed set were called Patsy :) and Honey Bear(?!... must have been american with a name like that). She had very sporty clothes a jazzy jumpers, hats a scarves...And we used to make strings of cut out dolls and colour their dresses in Come Dancing stylie.

well of course Robi we were born earlier and there was very Little color in my days!!

Mr N finished off last night's stew (I made dumplings this time) and I fried up the old cottage pie for me which was OK! I made a disasterous apricot pie, top was burnt nothing else was cooked and I made a right pig's ear out of it, so in the end I just put the cooked top onto the apricots, buggered up the instant custard, and served it as desert!! I hate custard!!
Ah, upitas - Seville that explains why I have never heard of them, but they sound delicious!

Our local Balearic government is now adding extra taxes to things like coca cola wrapping and bottled wáter I ask you, am fed up!
they are neti, very crisp flakey circles about 4 inches across, slightly salty and rich tasting but light.

final printables website, hundreds of lovely things

Am fed up ,fed up .Midsommer is cancelled for football Grrr.
The roads are dreadful Lofty .Picky had a terrible time again today getting round the county .He knocked off early .
I may shove off to bed .I've got to be at the doctors at 8.30 in the morning to see the nurse for my test results and lecture .
Oight Oight Dollies sleep toight .
