Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin's of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

Egg on cheese on Toast!!!! OMG!!! yuk.
I've just tried it with a short scarf, it looked nothing like it and I almost throttled myself.
oh I love egg on cheese on toast!!!!
I don't like eggs much Neti and the thought of an egg perched on Cheese on Toast disturbs me. I also get disturbed at eggs being cracked into soup!!!

It's a really easy pattern, Neti. It's the damn yarn that is the problem. I have put it away for a few days before the next attempt.

I passed a muffled woman on the way in way, was it shaney?

neti I told you you needed a very long scarf...tut, some editor, never reads what anybody's written...

yay! Made it to the shops and back in one piece...for what it was worth. Are mushy peas an an endangered species? None to be found round here.
So I bought a blingy bracelet from the card shop....because I was fed up... and it was there.... all sparkly in the window.
I bought a red glass vase from Morrisons yesterday, simply because it caught my eye and I had to have it. It was £5.00 and worth every penny because it cheers me up just looking at it. All I need now is some beautiful Astrantias

Robi, I am not allowed to see your picture...is it that rude?
Its so cold her tonight, not windy. I am watching the chase. Its the last contestant and he's thick as a brick. Anne has just said "Oh its the pretty one."
He was thick, and he missed out on a share of £40,000 because of it. He should have accepted minus £2000 and just got back with the others. He would just have to stood in the final chase saying nothing. He has lost out on £10,000 because of his lack of intelligent reasoning!!! They went away with £14,000 each! Stupid boy.
I can't see Robi's picture either :o(
just copy and paste the link Robi gave - it's not banned but it's https and AB won't show you things like that.

there you go, it made me laugh, I can imagine shaney saying it :)

Yes, looks and sounds just like Shaney!! ;o)
Mr N came home early so I cooked early. We had pork loin cooked in olive oil and soy sauce with sweet pot, normal pot, chestnuts, carrots, onions, mushrooms and green peppers all sort of roasted but with some stock added, only took 45mins and was delicious, so I washed up, bathed and came to bed early, but nothing on til EE!!
I also enjoyed the chase and have to agree that he was a silly student! I am well pleased when I can answer the questions and even Mr N can't always.

oh lordy are you all channeling Mrs Beeton nowadays? or are you aka mercia or spikey or whoever? :)

I forgot to say I laughed 'til I ached at the 'biddy outing'. It's the kind me & sis will be having if this bloomin' snow comes yet again at the weekend :(
Yes what a twit that chap on The Chase was .
He was quite posh too .I rather fancied the chap who won the 40K ,he was rather naice :)
Haha..my scarf is not tied ,it's not cool and it's beginning to imtimidate me.
I shouted at it earlier .Mr S thinks I'm going round the bend fiddling with a scarf .I shall be watching Mary like a hawk shortly !
Oh we had scraps ..leftover korma for Mr S .I had hand beaten and scrambled eggs on some hand toasted bread .I may have 12 cheeses and a couple of hand buttered biscuits later ;-)
I am just having a coffee and a buttered slice of pannetoni and a small kitkat, stocking up fuel for the cold night ahead!! Watching an old "Frost" halfheartedly.
I had hidden my kitkat in the veg drawer of the fridge so that no one else would eat it, and Mr N found it and asked ?? so I said d'oh silly me, I wondered where I had put it, so then I ate it. He really thinks I'm loopy.
finally saw the picture....isn't coolness the whole point of posh scarves?

I had potato wedges for tea. they are the tesco finest ones, king edward potatoes with black pepper on, delish......
