I have a suede jacket I bought in Florida, have only worn it a couple of times as it is so stiff (especially when i bend my arms) !! Is there a way to soften it up? Other than wear it more often lol?

get some dubbing and rub that on it.

Thanks :)

Maybe to spray it with meat tenderizer ?? this would effect the molecules of the skin and loosen it up.

A good natural tenderizer is the juice from a paw paw fruit.

I really wouldn't put dubbin on suede, it will cause the fibres to mat up and look pretty manky, if you do try it then have a go on an inconspicuous bit first. Dubbin is great for smooth leathers though.

Best results I have had with stiff suede is just to sit there, watching TV maybe, and rolling it back and forth through your hands.
