how can women spend all day shopping ? it drives me potty.... its gotta be a genetic thing surely... after all women cant make a good cup of tea, whereas us blokes make a great cuppa.

maybe you are right maybe it is genetic but i just love shopping so much its just unreal so satisfying especially if you get what you went out to get, i dont agree about the making tea thing though, i make a great cup of tea, infact im the only one that makes it in this house hahaha

I think I must have had a blip in my genetics then, I absolutely hate going shopping and only go when absolutely necessary! I hate clothes shopping most of all and would gladly wear worn out clothes if I could, rather than go and get more. I don't mind shopping for books and I love stationery shops. Again, weird! I also hate girl things, like chatting about hair, makeup babies etc. and I loathe gossip. Would rather talk about other things like history, words, psychology, crime etc.

Have done a spot check and I'm definitely female! I'm probably just a boring old f**t!

i must just be abnormal then because i can't stand trapsing round the shops for hours as it is sooooo!!! boring. if i need something i run to the shop and buy it, i used to hate shopping with my mum and sisters as they would take hours and i would just want to get home and make myself a lovely cup of tea

Afraid quite like shopping if I'm in the mood for it, but would rather be at the football. However, if anyone can explain to me why men like train-spotting, plane spotting and fishing (I've never met a female train-spotter), your thoughts would be very welcome.

Food I'm OK with, but shopping for clothes, that a NIGHTMARE.

campbellking - I've never met a male train (or plane) spotter either. Know a few fishermen though and can't understand how they enjoy that - tried it once, got bored, went home.

I'm another abnormal woman then cos I too hate clothes shopping. If I really need something, I go by myself, and get it done as quickly as possible! I'm like southergirl though cos I could spend hours in book shops and stationary shops!! and btw, no-one has ever said a bad word about my tea making either!!

my hubby loves clothes shopping, i never go with him as he takes hours, and it takes me at most 30mins to get ready to go out where as he takes about 2 hours and about 30 mins in front of the mirror

1. Everyone makes my tea too strong, except for me! and I am a woman!

2. I HATE shopping, it boils my blood! I hate people, I hate it all. Want to know how I got like this? I had a baby!! If you're girlfriend/spouse/wife is winding you up by being carefree enough to be able to flounce around shops for hours on end, then get her pregnant, it will all change!!

Mind you - it's a tad drastic, I must admit, but it worked for my hubby.
