Company Registration Number

Hi all, wondering if any of you can help with this, if you have the registration number and address of a company, is there anywhere online you can find out what sector etc they are in?  Many thanks in advance

If it is a limited company,go to www.companieshouse.gov.uk . On the right hand side bar, click on "Free company information" under the yellow Webcheck sign.

Then put the company name into the search bit - hey presto! There will be a description of the company's main business

I often take a look at Companies House records to see if a particlular limited company is still trading, etc.
