Can anyone tell me the story behind a memorial plaque near the services on the England side of the new severn bridge. We went to Wales recently and on our way back we stopped at the services and on the side of the road was a plaque to a police officer.I read it but it didn't really register, now I would like to find out the reason for the memorial.
